The multiple intelligence theory was introduced in order to consider new educational methods. Howard Gardner, the founder of this theory, advocates that the human brain has a modular structure and that separate psychological processes are performed in the brain using linguistic, numerical, visual, mimic and other symbol systems. Gardner argues that every human being is born with 8 different kinds of intelligence:
1. Linguistic Intelligence
2. Mathematical Intelligence
3. Spatial Intelligence
4. Musical Intelligence
5. Physical- Kinesthetic Intelligence
6. Interpersonal Intelligence
7. Intrapersonal Intelligence
8. Naturalistic Intelligence
Drawing attention to individual differences, the Multiple Intelligence Theory practices make it easier for learners to learn, recognize themselves, have confidence in themselves, respect individual differences, develop creative thinking and start thinking about what career to choose in the future.
At the Academy of Talent, we observe the interests and abilities of our students in accordance with the ‘holistic education' principle, identify the learning styles of our students, and provide suitable learning maps so as to offer them learning environments that support their own abilities through the clubs and activities in the fields of arts, sports, science and social sciences.
