29 th of October was celebrated with enthusiasm Raising generations who are “free in mind, free in conscious, free in education” based on the values of the Republic, MBA Schools celebrated the Republic Day at all campuses. Republic: Strong Together T he slogan of celebrations of this year’s Republic Day in MBA Schools was “Republic: Strong Together”. The excitement and enthusiasm were felt throughout all campuses of MBA Schools. The halls were jammed by parents. The parents were proud to see their children on the stage and excited to celebrate the Republic together. The celebrations were not limited to the stages: the entire hall sang along with the songs and anthems sung on the stage. Republic: Strong Together The celebration at Camlica campus started with the National Anthem and the show of the high school band. Following the Campus Principal Selahattin Colak’s “Welcoming” Speech, the winning futsal and bas- ketball teams of the Republic Tournament were awarded their cups. After the awards ceremony, the CEO of Medicana Education Group Okan Dilik made his speech themed “Republic: Strong Together”. Then the folk dance groups from pre-school and primary schools and the choir of the secondary school students were on the stage, following one another. The oratorio of the high school students called “Republic: Assimilation of Democracy” won great recognition. The celebrations ended with the 10 th Year March sung all together. English Song on Atatürk The celebrations at Beylikduzu Campus started with the opening speech of the Campus Principal Birsen Songun following the National Anthem. The English song on Atatürk sung by the high school stu- dents received standing ovation. Oratorio and Zeibek dance shows of the high school and secondary school students were scenes to remem- ber. The ceremony in Eryaman ended with the Izmir March sung all together. The Legend of the Turkish National Movement The celebration at Eryaman Campus started with the National Anthem and opening speech of the High School Principal Muhammet Ozyurt. The “Legend of the Turkish National Movement” was on stage, after the beautiful songs and anthems sung by the school choir. Everybody sang the İzmir March after the Zeibek dance show. 17
